2017 winner: Professor Linda Mulcahy

New SLSA chair

The new chair of the SLSA is Professor Rosie Harding of the University of Birmingham. She tweeted: 'It's a great honour to have been elected SLSA chair at SLSA 2017. I look forward to leading the SLSA and serving the membership.'

Annual Prize for Contributions to the Socio-Legal Community

This year's prizewinner, Professor Linda Mulcahy, was given her prize at the SLSA annual dinner in Newcastle by retiring chair, Professor Rosemary Hunter. Please visit our prizewinners page for details.

Linda was also one of the keynote speakers at the plenary session for SLSA 2017.
