SLSA Postgraduate Representative:
call for expressions of interest

The SLSA wishes to appoint a new Postgraduate Representative to its Board. The role of the Postgraduate Representative includes representing the views of postgraduate members to the Board of Trustees, encouraging postgraduates working in socio-legal studies to join the Association, maintaining a postgraduate email list and sharing relevant information with PGRs through the mailing list and via social media, and organising particular activities for postgraduate members at the SLSA Annual Conference. Alongside attending Board meetings, the Postgraduate Representatives each undertake board member responsibilities such as reviewing articles for SLSA prizes and being part of SLSA sub-committees. You will likely hold the role for up to 2–3 years and would need to be a PGR student throughout this period.  You will be required to be a member of the SLSA (if not already) at the time of taking up the appointment.  There are two PG representatives on the Board, recognising the level of work involved and allowing responsibilities to be shared.
