Disability Law Hub

School of Law, University of Leeds

For many decades the University of Leeds has played a pioneering role in global disability studies. The Centre for Disability Studies exists to challenge socially created barriers which limit the life chances of disabled people; now the School of Law’s Centre for Law and Social Justice has built on that legacy, establishing a new initiative — the Disability Law Hub.

The Hub's interdisciplinary research explores a number of areas in disability law, from inclusive education to access to justice. It aims to take on the everyday concerns of the disabled and translate these into legal research and legal action.
