REF 2021: call for nominations for sub-panels
On 24 February 2020 the REF team put out a call for nominations for sub-panels for REF 2021.
The Law Panel are looking for the following additional expertise at this time:
- Sub-panel members (practising researcher): Public International Law and Human Rights
- Output assessors: Property, equity and trusts; Banking and finance law; Competition law and public procurement; Philosophy of law and legal theory; Intellectual property law and information technology regulation; Private international and commercial law, International trade and investment law; Family and child law; Private law, particularly tort; International criminal law, counter-terrorism, and transitional justice studies; Labour and employment law; Global and transnational law and governance; Legal researcher with quantitative methodology expertise; Criminal Justice (including evidence law); Criminology
- Sub-panel members (research user): Legal practice/legal services
- Impact assessors: All areas of law but particularly fields of public policy, law reform and legal services

The SLSA Chair invites expressions of interest from members who wish to be nominated in any of the above categories of expertise. If you would like to be considered as an SLSA nominee, please contact the SLSA Chair Professor Rosie Harding, providing all the information requested in the REF Summary of Information Required.
Please note: anyone who was nominated by the SLSA but was unsuccessful in the previous round will be automatically considered in this round and need not be nominated again.
